Why did you become an apprentice?
I knew someone who worked at the salon and I’d followed their career journey and wanted a part of that.

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people, building relationships and seeing the Barbers Lounge grow.
What’s your ultimate dream?
I can’t wait to qualify and have my own clients. I feel that I’m in my dream job as it gives me an outlet for all of my creativity.
What’s your biggest achievement so far?
Achieving my A-Levels in graphics, fine art and photography and landing my job at Barrie Stephen’s Barbers Lounge.
What advice would you give to salons on the hunt for juniors?
Find someone who fits with your brand. It has to be a fit on both sides.
