Simon Hill, a SESH Hairdresser in Leith,
Edinburgh completed the tiresome journey from London to Paris on his bike to raise money and awareness for the charity,
Bloodwise.
The trip began on Thursday 19 September and concluded as the group reached the Eiffel Tower on Sunday 22 September. On the ride a host of hairdressers, including the team from Marc Antoni hit the road for the cause.

Simon commented; “I believe that we should all do our bit to give back and help those that we can. We all have a responsibility to give back and by taking part in things like this cycle is not only an incredible way to highlight a worthy cause and raise money for the charity, it also pushes you as an individual.
At SESH Hairdressing giving back is something we are really passionate about and it is at the forefront of our brand. It is an honour to help this outstanding charity.”

Day one saw the fleet of hairdresser's cycle from Eltham to Calais. Then, on the second day from Calais to Abbeville and to conclude, from Abbeville to Beauvais. On the third day, before reaching their final destination, Paris. The fleet then returned to their hometown of Edinburgh via the Eurostar to London and further train journey back to Scotland.
Simon Hill from SESH Hairdressing and Colin McAndrew from Medusa, spent several months preparing for this adventure cycling around Scotland to ensure they were more than prepared for the 240 mile journey.
Bloodwise, previously known as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity, is a cause close to Simon's hearts and he hit his donation target of £1,500. The total raised by SESH Hairdressing is £1,530, this may well increase as Simon spreads the word. The teams have raised an overall amount of £50,000 this year.
