habia-skills-academy.jpgThe Habia Skills Academy (HSA) is recruiting an 'A-team' of top industry experts as it begins to roll out its Centres of Expertise network.

This panel of experts will be required to confirm whether or not learning providers have the right skills and technical ability to become part of the HSA's elite network, with only the very best centres from across the UK selected.

Centres of Expertise is a national network of learning providers which will deliver the very highest in education. It is open to all centres - regardless of which awarding organisation they work with.

Colleges, centres, manufacturers and employers that are accredited as a Centre of Expertise will have to successfully meet and maintain rigorous assessment criteria, which is where the panel of industry experts will step in.

Andrew Darby, Habia director of policy said: "Centres of Expertise represent the best of the best, so it's only right that the people who monitor and inspect it be at the very top level themselves.

"We are looking for hair and beauty experts who are committed to their sector, want to see it progress in terms of training and standards, and have a desire to put something back into their industry that helps future generations."

To express an interest in becoming an industry expert for the HSA's Centre of Expertise programme, email [email protected].
